Paleo, MITO, Keto...What's it all about???

Recently I've been going through some major changes! After being sick for so long, I decided, enough is enough, and I went to see a natural healthcare specialist who I call Dr. C.

After going over my medical records and labs, it was decided that I would start what is called a MITO Food Plan .

Since I've started this plan, I have been able to come off of every synthetic form of medication that I've ever been on (for more of my story, please visit and friend me at my Facebook Page Tina L. Korotky).

NOW....I do not ever recommend to anyone (especially my clients) that you come off of your medication. I did so with close monitoring and made my traditional doctors aware of every move I made.

I chose to come off of my synthetic medications because they were all depleting me of any nutritional values I was putting into my system. My doctor explained it as I was a "tire with a slow leak". No matter what I was putting in, by the end of the day there was nothing left!

My cousin who is on a Paleo Food Plan and I started a Facebook group called Paleo & More where we share what we eat, give you recipes, and offer support for anyone taking this next step in their own wellness journey.

Paleo, MITO, and Keto are all similar plans. However, there are some differences that can make or break what you are trying to achieve. For instance, my MITO Food Plan helps aide in reducing inflammation throughout the body. While the other plans are also great for that, there are some foods that I am not able to have in my body that are cleared with the other plans.

In the upcoming months, I plan on sharing the differences between these three food plans that I now have found to work with many of my clients needs.

If you are interested in more information, please schedule your FREE health assessment with me today so we can get you started on your own path to wellness!

I'm Still Here....

I know that I haven't taken any new clients for awhile now. So I'd like to take a moment and explain why; because it's so important.

I want to make something clear before I explain my situation......

I am well aware that I never have to "explain myself" to anyone other than God (for me that is my highest power). That being said, I do believe there are times in my life that I will make an exception to that rule; because although my family always comes first; my clients are also very important to me as well.

In doing light work, I truly believe and even talk a lot about Karma. I feel that when I am not balanced, due to situations that may come up in my life, that it is Karmically Irresponsible to ever work on someone as a Reiki Practitioner; and this is something I explain to all of my students as well. I believe in the Ripple Effect, so to speak. That if I am not completely grounded, or balanced, at some point, it is very possible to pass that on to my clients. I would never want to harm anyone ever!

There has been a LOT going on for about two years of my life. While I still accepted clients for the company I am an Independent Distributor for; I just wasn't comfortable practicing Reiki or even doing readings during that time.

I had a really bad injury that turned into my health being compromised. I was in a great deal of pain; but that goodness that is getting back on track. We also struggled with a lot of loss in our family during the same time as well.

My children, who both have special needs, and are my main priority (along with my husband of course), have had various struggles that we are still working on. One of the outcomes of their struggles is that I am now homeschooling my son.

Things are moving on the right path for my journey and I promise that I am still right here; just continuing to work toward what my family and my highest good is. If you know me then you know my family always comes first!

I can't say when I will practice or even teach again. I do know that this part of my journey holds amazing lessons for me that I can not wait to share with you all.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have been such a tremendous support for me and especially for my family.

Encouragement...

No matter what you are facing....Health Issues, Relationship Troubles; or just Life in general trying to kick you while you are down....GET UP!!!

You are going to be faced with so many different obstacle courses in life, but I promise if you don't allow it to stop you; YOU WILL WIN!

In my own life, I've recently been going through one of the hardest struggles I've yet to face (and believe me, if you know me, we've had our fair share).

Today, I woke up and I realized...I AM in control of my own destiny! God has the master plan; but I have the choice. I choose to JUST KEEP SWIMMING!!!

If you come to a mountain, no matter how scared you are to confront it,
ask God to help you; and  TELL IT TO MOVE!!!

I always explain that God is my higher power. Even if God is not your higher power, you still have one. Just as long as your higher power is working toward your highest and best good; then I promise you are on the right path!!

Stay strong my friends.

I am not the best at posting!

Hello There and Happiest of New Years!

I will admit that I am the absolute worst when it comes to posting updates; and I apologize for this. I am sure I've shared the following quote a time or two; but I live by this.....

Now, I never said that I am proud to live by this quote. However, those of you who know me personally completely get my life; and all the craziness that I wouldn't trade for anything in this world!

That being said, I am sorry for being so scarce when it comes to posting updates. Thank you so so much for everyone who has been a tremendous support to us during our own health woes. Also, a huge thanks to everyone who has reached out with their amazing questions, and for sharing their stories of the many other "journeys to wellness" out there. I am hoping that one day I will actually have a tab on here to share some of the wonderful things I've received.

I am looking at my time; and I am positive I will hear "Eaaaaat now" from my daughter any minute now. So, I will leave you with some wonderful advice I've actually been working on during my own daily schedule.

What about Limu??

I've been asked by a few different people now, how Limu is working out for us. I'm so excited that people want to know more about it; because it has truly helped our family. I've started a blog (and am working real hard on getting all of our stories up on it) called Our Limu Journey. I will share my story along with the children's. I am also looking to see other's stories good or bad; because I believe if you've had a hard time, and didn't want to stick with it #1 I can convince you to try again and with good results; or #2 I may be able to help you find exactly what would work for your individual needs.

I don't often talk about Limu that much. It's not a good thing, because unfortunately you can actually find more of the bad reviews faster than you will find good about Limu. I'd like to think that is because Limu works so well that we are all too busy living life to bad mouth it.  Another reason I don't really talk about Limu is because I also affiliated with another company that is just as amazing; and it truly does offer more products, so I find myself super busy with those clients who just couldn't continue Limu (for whatever reason); and needed help feeling well.

Please, if Limu wasn't effective; do not give up hope. There are so many natural health solutions out there. Who knows, maybe you just need to supplement something to enhance your Limu experience; and that is where I come in.

Before you throw in the towel, contact me for a free health analysis. I can work with you whether it be Limu or other supplements; and I promise that you could recover from whatever it is that you are struggling with. I promise that you can also feel so much better. It just takes some patients, some commitment on your part to want to feel better; and support that I would love to give you along the way.

I want to thank everyone who has reached out to me in one way or another; and I am really trying to answer everyone as soon as I can. If you already know me, then you know my motto: "family first". You also may know that both of my children have special needs; so that within itself is a FULL - full time job!

I hope everyone is getting back to their school routines on happy and healthy notes. We actually just had a well visit for both children today; and developmental pediatrician tomorrow. Everyone, so far is blown away by both children's progress going as natural as we possibly can (our daughter is still on medication for her epilepsy; however, it has been reduced since she's been on Limu and Sunshine Heroes).

As always, if you have any questions or just want to chat about your options; please never hesitate to contact me.

Be Well and Be Blessed!
